Since becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine in 2006, I have dedicated myself to empowering individuals through individual and group counseling.

I blend various evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, to help you unlock your potential and make sustainable changes. My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring that every step we take together is aligned with your personal wellness goals.

My extensive experience has equipped me with the skills to manage various challenges. Some of these experiences include working as a mobile crisis clinician to provide mental health counseling at the middle school level, leading trips for Outward Bound, and as a first responder on Ski Patrol and a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua.

Now, as an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the Mental and Behavioral Health Member Interest Group I continually refine my practice by collaborating with and learning from fellow professionals.

I have developed the Life Ideals™ program, a proven-effective curriculum that supports and sustains healthy lifestyle changes. This program focuses on six self-care areas: relaxation, social support, thought restructuring, sleep, physical activity, and nutrition. Together, we will explore these facets to identify and strengthen areas of self-care, integrating healthy habits to enhance your overall health and wellness.

My role as a therapist is to provide a listening ear and guide you in creating a personalized plan to navigate life’s challenges.
