Co-Regulation in Practice
How to Create Safety, Unlock Authentic Self-Care, and Support Lasting Change
Join instructors Karen Lane, LCSW, and Sarah MacLaughlin, LSW, for a practical, skills-based training for behavioral health professionals seeking better tools for stress, burnout, nervous system regulation, and strategies for client follow-through.
This in-person training integrates Life Ideals’ six self-care practices with a polyvagal-informed, relational neuroscience approach and ACT strategies. You’ll learn how nervous system state shapes behavior and connection, how to understand and expand the window of tolerance, and how to use self-empathy (feelings/needs/requests) with the Four Chairs (NVC) framework to reduce shame/conflict, increase clear/compassionate communication and support meaningful change. You’ll leave with mindfulness micro-practices and habit tools that make follow-through more achievable in real life—for you and your clients.
